Join your Space Center Rotary Family for a Holiday Celebration on Monday December 18^th starting at 6:00pm at Jado'z Grill House, 804 South Friendswood Dr. Suite #100 in Friendswood. The cost will be $50 per person which includes a wine dinner. A cash bar will also be available. Dress code will be Holiday Dress. We will be having contests for Ugliest Holiday Sweater and a Most Unique Holiday Tie.

Space Center Rotray will again celebrate and recognize individual(s) and business(es) that demonstrate Leadership, Excellence, Achievement and Philanthropy within the Bay Area communities. They also exemplify the core principles of Rotary including Service above Self and have made significant contribution to improving quality of life in the Bay Area.

Space Center Rotary along with the Seabrook and League City Clubs sponsors the annual Teacher of the Year Awards Luncheon as part of our committment to supporting our public service heroes. Each year a nominee is made from each school campus and the Rotary Clubs assist in the selection of the winners of each level of education (elemenetary, middle school and high school). This year's event will by on Monday May 13th at Soutrh Shore Harbor Resort and Conference Center. Tickets are $38 each. You can register here and pay online or by cash orr check. Deadline to sign up is Monday May 6th at 5:00pm.

The Big Crawfish Bash in Texas City is held annually to support non-profits and charities in the Bay Area. We will be assisting with parking intake and fee collection for the paid parking lot. Volunteers will be receive free tickets to the event which includes all-you-can-eat crawfish, live music, a carnival and othe food and activities. Ticket value is $35. Shifts will be 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the number of volunteers available. Friends and family members can volunteer. Shifts will be early morning, midday and early and late afternoon. There will not be any evening shifts.

Volunteers will receive an email asking for a preferred shifts and after assignement can request rescheduling. A minimum of 25 volunteers are needed. 

This a great opportunity to help your community and help raise funds for your club's service activities.

Space Center Rotary Club will be having its annual golf tournament at Bay Oaks Country Club on Monday May 20.Weather in May motivates all of us to get outside and enjoy the weather.  What better way to do so than to play golf at an absolutely beautiful and recently renovated golf course and enjoy the fellowship and camaraderie of friends.

Our Rotary club is raising money to benefit local charities including Gary Bartels’s Oath, Inc. It is an organization that helps our Veterans and their families reintegrate into society after service. that helps reacclimate veterans back home and reduce post traumatic stress and suicide. Prior to the shotgun start we will have a military salute to all those who served. 

To help streamline the check-in process, we are including all mulligans, putting and chipping contests, tiger drive, lunch, dinner, beer and drinks in the registration donation. Many holes will have activities to experience while you wait. One such activity will be a stretch lab. Another will be a free margarita service.

Come out and enjoy the day while we play "Fore the Troops".
