Murder Mystery “The Clue” Resolved
Spring Fundraiser Event
By Margarita MH

What a wonderful evening full of intrigue, fun and giving. Space Center Rotary Club members, fellow rotarians, family members and friends were  United for Good for a fun event and with Compassion gave back to our Community the evening of March 20, 2026 at the South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center.

Members and friends really enjoyed the 1920's theme! Beautiful and glamorous ladies with flapper and sparkling dresses, feathered head bands and precious pearls. The gentlemen faithfully complied with the dress code and showed off  their 20’s classy styles with hats, vests and suspenders. A very fashionable 20's murder mystery night.

We want to deeply thank Ute Schneider, President Elect and Fundraising Chair for leading this fashionable and murder mystery dinner. We also appreciate members of the Committee and those who helped setting up for the event. Wonderful table setting with hand made table chandeliers made by Ute.

Ute appreciated and acknowledged our Spring Fundraiser sponsors: Houston Methodist Hospital of Clear Lake (Stephanie Clawson), Waldron & Schneider (Richard Simmons), Teri and Kevin Crawford, Marilyn and Wayne Musial and Ute and Chris Schneider.

We also appreciated Rep.Dennis Paul and his wife Eliza for joining us. District Governor Elect Camille Hamilton and her husband Steve joined us as well.We also had the presence of  District Governor Assistants, Chad Greer, Stan Galanski and Darryl Smith. Very nice to see Past Governor Bill Palko and his wife Debbie and Presidents and Past Presidents of other Clubs such as North Shore and Seabrook.

Amazing the acting job by our improvised actors during the play. Kuddos to Stephanie Clawson who  played the cook which later was “scenically murdered”. It was so much fun when guests were investigating who the murderers were … and by the way, we had a “real” FBI  agent (retired) as a guest, who precisely profiled two of the murderers.

After guests resolved, not one but three scenic murders, the silent auction successfully closed and the live auction started. A big shout out to our Live and Silent auction items donors. Special thanks to Sheila Self  for donating twice her Galveston Beach House.

Space Center Rotary thanks y’all for such a great and fun Fundraising event, from the bottom of our hearts.

THANK YOU!
