The Helping Hands Ministry -Food Pantry Program.-
On September 29, 2025 Teri Crawford of behalf of our Club presented a donation check to Brannon Revel, Director of Local Ministries at Sagemont Church for The Helping Hands Ministry Food Pantry. We were so pleased to have our Club introduced to this noble program by our President. Teri is an active member of the Sagemont Church and she has been supporting the Ministry for several years.
The Helping Hands Ministry has been serving the Community for about twenty years, not only by providing assistance to families or individuals with food, through the Food Pantry, but also through Clothing Closet program and limited Emergency Financial Assistance. The Food Pantry serves about 250 individuals per day. The Food Pantry opens three days a week.

On October 1, 2025 Space Center members gathered at the Taylor Lake Church, where our dear Madella Williams is a Senior Minster. We cooked, prepare, and delivered about 25 meals for The Mercy Tree. Space Center has been supporting this project since 2018. The Mercy Tree's mission is to feed homeless people in the Clear Lake area. The meals were delivered to the Ecclesia Clear Lake.
Thank yo u so much for the members who volunteered: Teri Crawford, Ute Schneider, Rebecca Unbehagen, Richard Simmons, Marilyn Musial, John Wren, Steve Charbonneau, Nurit Hinthorn, Sheila Self, Jennifer Garcia, Darryl Smith, and Margarita MH.
We want to thank our dear Madella Williams for allowing to use the Church's kitchen to cook and prepare the meals. Very kind we received a thank you note from Mrs. Gina Evans.
